Amber has been in the cosmetology field for 12 years and recently moved to the Las Vegas area from Buffalo, NY but first started her career in Reno, NV where she attended Prater Way College of Beauty in 1996. After moving back and restarting her career in Buffalo she realized that many women want their hair and makeup done professionally for their wedding but need someone to come to them. Amber then left Buffalo to explore her and her husband’s dreams in the city of lights!!
Amber started working at Euphoria & Co at Boca Park in February of 2010 and joined Hottie Hair Salon in February 2012 where she specializes in hair cutting, styling, coloring, high and low lighting, keratin complex treatments, perms, manicures and pedicures and makeup. She is available at the slon for any of these services.
Amber also works with local production companies by using her expertise in makeup and hair styling for TV, film and print. Her first movie was “Brevity” by Aaron Doolittle. It is an independent film that was filmed in the Buffalo area. Amber used special effects makeup to make a 35 year old woman look like she is about 60.
She is a professional makeup artist and one of the best that Las Vegas has to offer. She can help you create the perfect style for your special day or occasion. She will travel up to 50 miles from Las Vegas, NV to your home, friend’s home, hotel room, or church to perform her magic for your wedding or occasion.

“All of our hair/makeup turned out great, and my eyelashes never fell off LOL I’ve already recommended your services to buffalo brides through The Knot! Since my hair is short, of course the style stayed (although my front bangs drooped a bit from all my dancing!) – but that’s natural. And Erika’s [maid of honor] hair stayed the whole night, and our makeup looked fresh too – we hardly touched up!” — 10/17/07
Stephanie Jones was Mrs. Shepard in the movie Brevity in June 2008 and wrote:
“In my capacity as a professional actor and theatre producer, I am aware of the importance of attitude and capability. Ambers’ make up application was authentic and impressive. I was playing a character ten years my senior and her experience and creativity enabled her to create that look while maintaining the integrity of reality. Also, as my character was meticulous and wealthy, she performed miracles with my hair, making original and complex styles that were both eye catching and impressive. I was very much relieved by her craftsmanship and therefore I feel she was a huge asset in my performance.” — 07/01/08
Chris Santucci was the director of photography in “Brevity” and wrote:
“I am a motion picture producer and cinematographer. A big part of my job is hiring crew to help get movies made. Recently I found myself in somewhat of a jam in that I needed a local experienced makeup stylist with some specific skills to work with one of our actors. Amber came into my film project as a complete unknown and right off the bat she blew me away with her dedication, professionalism, and preparation. Having her on the crew was a huge relief for me since she took the bull by the horns and performed beyond my expectations. Not only was Amber a total pro but she got along with everyone and was a real joy to be around.” —08/08/08
